UPDATE for Ticket Holders: Due to the forecast for heavy rain, this outdoor event at Mill Hall Farm garden has been moved to Holy Trinity Church, and will still start at 6pm. You are welcome to bring your picnics and drinks as advertised for the event. Doors will open at 5.30 for 6pm start.
Come and enjoy some foot-tapping, finger-clicking, spine tingling, lung busting Greek soulful melodies and funky rhythms on a journey through different eras of Greek music. It will be a fun and moving evening for all the family to enjoy together. This will be an open-air, bring your own picnic plus chairs occasion in a beautiful garden (so pray for a fine June evening – we’ve avoided Wimbledon fortnight so we should be OK). Plastikes Karekles are one of the foremost bands in the performance of Greek music in the UK and abroad, and have performed all over the country, including the Proms. “These musicians wowed a captivated audience……they had people dancing in the aisles” (Nottingham Post).
In the event of bad weather the event wil be held at Holy Trinity Church Cuckfield. We will email you as soon as we can on the day to notify you.
