Leading Ladies: A Musical Theatre Cabaret
Step into the spotlight with The Leading Ladies for a cabaret experience like no other. For one night only this Musical Theatre Cabaret will take you on a journey through the ages, featuring music from iconic composers who shaped the West End and Broadway.

Whether you crave the clever rhymes of Cole Porter, the symphonic beauty of George Gershwin, the heart of Rodgers & Hammerstein or the modern brilliance of Sondheim and Schwartz, there is a seat waiting for you. The musical partnership between Deborah and Rachael began nearly 30 years ago when they first met as students at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Since then, their careers have taken them across the diverse landscapes of the vocal world.

After graduating, Deborah moved into musical theatre and performed in West End productions including The Phantom of the Opera and The Sound of Music. Rachael dedicated her career to the classical stage, working extensively as an opera singer both within the UK and on the international circuit. Rachael has just finished a run in the role of the mother, Cathy, in Mark-Anthony Turnage’s new opera of The Railway Children at Glyndebourne. Tonight represents a wonderful full-circle moment for these two lifelong friends.

Joining them at the piano will be acclaimed West End Musical Director Gemma Hawkins, who completes the trio as a fellow graduate of the Guildhall! Gemma is currently Co-Musical Director for Moulin Rouge! The Musical (West End) and Musical Director for the London stage production of The Snowman.
